seabreeze, did I spend a time PMing you in the past? If I remember correctly, you have complex PtSD. It was probably while I was under the name Courtier but maybe The-Triple-Threat or Occams Chainsaw - I don't know which one in particular. If so, I remember thinking that your sensitivity or inclination towards to reading between the lines was vey high in general, as if you were compensating. I think we discussed it a little but I forgot most of what was said beyond some light flirting on my part

it's interesting that the mod for this forum is an aspie :) was that planned? :)

i bet you are more socially adept than half the people here who are 'aspd'

attitude can go a long way

It's entirely possible that it was another mod with an Aspie dx but I doubt it given what you just said

Not planned exactly.. this forum needed a mod after Ada left, and I volunteered alongside Otter.
I've got a sister with a lot of similarities to many of the members here (and a diagnosis.. :? - didn't expect that one since i thought it was just BPD and psychosis, but eh).. and I've often read here even though i've not posted much.

I'm okay socially at times, but it depends on my mood.. how overwhelmed I am (sensory stuff) at the time.. etc. I'm good with people i've known for a long time - i don't have to do the social 'dance' stuff with them. Sometimes I can talk to anyone, sometimes i'm as adept as a plank of wood..
Shine me a light up
and i'll run round the moon..

I got such a low score because I don't have autism, duh. Which also means that I'm less autistic than most people here.

So, you can you use it as an insult all you want but the facts speaks for themselves.

It's not at all surprising that Dulcet proved to be more autistic than me. I don't doubt that you would too, crystal.

i would think having some subclinical autistic traits would actually be a benefit? that means scoring anywhere below 26. lots of wiggle room

it's almost as if you take the test with a deliberate avoidance of scoring high reaper, resulting in a strangely low score, the inverse of what you do on the psychopathy tests :D

I concur, a few autistic traits can be very handy in various situations.

That's probably true of most if not all disorders

Vision impairment would be handy if one had to be around your face for any length of time :)
