How does one stare glibly? Any insincerity in a look I think has to also include facial expression. I would understand if she'd said shallow-looking eyes but I don't know that the direction and intensity of seeing balls can be said to be insincere without something else to contrast them against-- even then, I think I'd intuitively say the face is betraying the eyes rather than the other way around. I don't understand what the psych trying to say. Are your eyes warm to hold gaze with?
I've never understood what he meant when he said it. It was in a statement from when I was diagnosed many years ago. It said glib stare or glib gaze. I don't have expression in my tone and I don't use facial expressions either.
Other people have commented on my eyes as well but I haven't got a clue. My general response is that I can't see my own eyes so I don't know what they're on about.
If I ever get round to going to therapy I'll ask what their opinion is.

I think I expected, because it's a psychiatrist, that they'd be a bit more precise when throwing around jargon from their own profession. The holistic image makes much more sense
