Yeah, your r's are fairly Americanised, like you'd expect from someone who had lived there for a while. But you still sound like an Aussie, so not sure why she was awkward.

Even when I was in high school people assumed I was from another country. It's strange because I personally think I sound like any other Australian. I think it's just the way I pronounce my r's.
I've head your voice a few times, and you sound pretty typically Aussie to me. Granted, I'm a yank, and what do I know, but your accent didn't stand out to me. You actually sound more sophisticated/less bogan than I was expecting, especially considering I thought you lived in rural NSW with mostly sheep for neighbors... no?
I'm not crazy. My reality is just different from yours.

Yeah, it's really only other Aussies that notice it.

I live in town. Though, I still technically have sheep for neighbors...

I was about to crack some joke about Aussies and sheep, but then it occurred to me that I still feel partly Aussie. It's odd--I never really felt native when I lived there, but apparently I lived there long enough to develop Aussie pride. lol
I still cringe when people say MelbouRRRRRRRne.

Ellaria Sand, Game of Thrones
I felt she and her entire story arc were badly written and terribly executed.
But her motives felt familiar to me. She wanted to hurt her enemy by any means necessary after her enemy indirectly took her loved one from her and she did. Top chick.
Your greatest enemy will hide in the last place you would ever look.

This topic came to mind in the anima thread when thinking about how to expose persona, ego and shadow. I'm reluctant to respond to questions there because I want to figure out a way for people to explore it properly.
I cant think of any characters. People have ascribed characters to me and I can see why so what prevents self-identification in characters is a bit of a mystery. I've had valmont from dangerous liaisons and lord henry wotton from the picture of dorian gray, and I also had sheldon from big bang theory

I was thinking about this a bit yesterday.
A few people I have met have said that I remind them of Chanel #3 from Scream Queens. I think it's the voice.

It might be interesting to see what fictional characters others come up with to members here, based on how they post. It might provide an insight into how people come across in their manner. Not sure how useful it would be. I tend to "box" people to help understand them.
Quoth, for example, reminds me of John Nash in A Beautiful Mind.
Naps makes me think of Deadpool.
Reaper reminds me of Annie Wilkes from Misery.
VCPamphlet: Wilson from House
Caspin: Mouse from The Matrix
I'll post some others if they occur to me.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

Jabberwocky reminds me of spongebob on a handful of ritalin, who hasn't slept in three days sleep.
justonemoreperson reminds me of Gregory house if you played him at 0.75x speed
leela reminds me of Anna Karenina if you ran her through google translate Beta a few times
