I've not seen the "Assertive vs. Turbulent" score before, but the more Assertive a person is the better! Turbulent is probably not a good skill, doesn't sound like it.

That's not what I was discussing.

For some unknown reason, you decided I'm self-hating simply because I have NPD and I was explaining to you that CNPD (compensatory narcissism, which is the more appropriate term for that) is more indicative of self-hate (due to low self-esteem) than NPD in general.

What? The difference between CNPD and NPD is that they both are narcissists, except the one has a conscious knowledge of their low self-esteem while the other has unconscious low self-esteem.

To me, you strike me more as antisocial with a sense of conscious low self-esteem so much you have to brag how you want to murder everyone, instead of unconscious low self-esteem. But I mean, I can't debate with your diagnosis. You are of course antisocial (the one true psychopath to rule them all  ), and not a narcissist.

Not all narcissists have low self-esteem.

I don't have low self-esteem, consciously or subconsciously. On tests, my self-esteem has shown to be very high. And I have no desire to murder everyone, so again, you're wrong.

(ENTP-A)
Behaviourally I usually get ENTP-A so this is unsurprising.

When testing for cognitive functions, I score INTJ. The latter is more interesting. It's about how you think.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ESTP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Sensing (Se): Immersing in the present context. Responding naturally to everything tangible you detect through your senses. Checking with what your gut instincts say. Testing limits and take risks for big rewards.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or ISFP.

The questions were so interesting that I experienced constant conflict with feeling the urge respond everything with extreme yes and striving to find an appropriate response from an abstact entity. I am a little sleepy so possibly made it more complicated than it is.
ENFP is what I usually get.

I didn't like the cognitive functions test at all. Most of the statements sounded really odd and unnatural to me. The first time I submitted my answers, the test told me to go back because most of my answers were 'not me'.

I got ISFP, I've read the descriptions and it sounds like it was written by a schizophrenic. It just sounds weird, I don't know.

Infinitesimal wrote:I'm thinking this is possible considering 1/3 answers is also an INTJ and looking at the name I will presume it's a female. And INTJ is the rarest mbti type for females, so if she has ASPD and this personality type, the correlation could be there..

Yes I am female- not sure whether or not I've got ASPD as I've never admitted to any psychologist/therapist/psychiatrist I've ever seen the extent of my tendencies to lie, manipulate etc. Just the mention of IDEATIONS of homicide to my school therapist got me kicked out of college for a semester for a "mental health break"... so that was my last attempt at being honest about that.

All in all, i'm officially diagnosed bipolar 1, adult add, panic disorder, and experience periods of "psychotic dissociation (aka daydreams of letting go of the wheel, stealing someones credit card the left sitting on the table, committing various acts of extreme violence)...

I've found ways of consensually relieving such aggression though - although i'm not sure if it's helped, or just made it more addictive.
Bipolar, impulsive, apathetic and sadistic. Heavily medicated.

I've taken the test so many times I don't want to bother again.
I always get ENTJ.

ENTJs are natural born leaders. They live in a world of possibilities where they see all sorts challenges to be surmounted, and they want to be the ones responsible for surmounting them. They have a drive for leadership, which is well-served by their quickness to grasp complexities, their ability to absorb a large amount of impersonal information, and their quick and decisive judgments. They are "take charge" people.

ENTJs are very career-focused, and fit into the corporate world quite naturally. They are constantly scanning their environment for potential problems which they can turn into solutions. They generally see things from a long-range perspective, and are usually successful at identifying plans to turn problems around - especially problems of a corporate nature. ENTJs are usually successful in the business world, because they are so driven to leadership. They're tireless in their efforts on the job, and driven to visualize where an organization is headed. For these reasons, they are natural corporate leaders.
