I am a movie fanatic, but I will turn off a movie as soon as it begins to bore me.

Watching movies is also one of my favorite past times. My favorite genres are Horror, War, and adventure, in that order. This doesn't mean a dislike watching comedies, thrillers or fantasies, I just prefer the former three.

I have noticed that movie genre preferences, can say a lot about the range of risk taking behaviors a person is likely to undertake. For example, someone who prefers comedies, but is really turned off by violence, may or may not be a great risk taker, however the range of those risk taking activities is limited. Whereas, I've noticed that people who enjoy horror, and war flicks, may or may not be risk takers, but if they do have a high risk tolerance, they are likely to engage in a much broader range of risky activities.

Even though it's purely anecdotal, I've observed that people who have a preference for violence in film tend to accurately represent what people consider "fearless".

I prefer psychological thrillers and courtroom dramas.

I like horrors too, but most are a bit tedious.

movies ARE real (want to watch a snuff film with me?)

I have the exact same taste in movies as dark soul

I have seen many movies in my life time and never once did I entertain the notion it was real.. I can typically tell within 10 minutes of a movie if I will enjoy it or not. I watch a lot of movies but I tend to look for errors in editing and any inconsistencies that may arise. I usually spot errors quickly.

Blair Witch shocked me good. Other than that, not really. That Tom Cruise one was wicked, with the space station on the planet. The clones.

I don't know if I prefer any specific genre more than others, but a funny pattern seems to be forming with my favorites. They're all the last things I think a sociopath would be expected to list as favorites. Top ones for me include some Pixar movies, Miyazaki movies, musicals, and even some unusually well-written romances.
I guess I just like anything that's well-written eye-candy. Action movies and thrillers are pretty consistently enjoyable too, even when they're bad.

I like horror movies. I can enjoy both the empty ''torture porn'' like ones or the ones with a story behind. Also Tarantino movies, David Lynch, love those.

If i watch by myself i do 100 other things at the same time cause i get distracted fast if its not really captivating.
