My comment was a bit on the sarcastic side but you don't see yourself as a pet? You are given food, shelter, clothing, etc in exchange for entertainment. You are as manipulative as a pet. I'm sure when he first thinks about it he thinks you love him...but when he thinks a little deeper he knows you'd trade him for a "steak" :?

So seriously, why aren't you a pet? I've never understood why men have gold diggers. I guess a girl with a pretty mouth is better than your hand...I dunno. Guess that's like me getting one of those moving dogs little girls have to replace mine

My dog doesn't bark more than once or twice a month. And he's a toy dog. Silent just the way I like my people 8)

I guess I am a pet in some ways. I think it's a matter of perspective.

If I am a pet though, then we're all pets if we extend your logic

pets are definitely more gross than (most) humans...

but I guess that depends on how well the owner takes care of them

left to their own devices, pet's are more gross than humans hands down.

I'm not following your train of thought. Of course I don't want to give my dog a "big open mouth kiss"

Human, only when it's on my terms.

What does that have to do with anything?
