Not just humans. Probably all of the apes kill for pleasure...maybe dolphins. animals with very high intelligence are probably capable of killing for pleasure (dolphins have also demonstrated empathy towards humans so it's a two way street)

most apes become very aggressive in adolescence...especially chimps. I believe they also like to sometimes bully. though other apes like to live lives of solitude...

I imagine psychopathy has similar percentages in high intelligent animals, maybe a bit higher

The apes are human-likes..yes, true, they are animals too, but please, don't mix them into this topic, they are human-likes, "Apes are Old World anthropoid mammals, more specifically a clade of tailless catarrhine primates, belonging to the biological superfamily Hominoidea"

anthropoid
Resembling a human, especially in shape or outward appearance.
anthropoid
Resembling man, resembling human beings

And i could continue but.. and heres the point where you were right, because yes not only humans kill for fun but Dolphins, and i think its..now end? its over theres no other animal that kill for fun even wild animals like lions are only kill for SURVIVE and not for the pleasure of killing and of course bugs, like ants but we talk about animals and though bugs considered to be animals, we not talking about them

Intelligent animals.. well intelligent animals are like dogs, horses, and a few others that considered to be "very intelligent" compared to the other animals and they would never ever kill for pleasure, especially dogs and horses

So i still stay with what i just did said, only humans kill for pleasure from animals. Dolphins are violent predators with a predilection for baby killing and rape, so only they kill for pleasure i guess but i still cant say this because i dont think we are there yet to know why they do it

Any more questions you got, madam? :) :)

A domesticated animal is totally different then a wild one. yes. dogs/horses anything that is domesticated in my opinion have had the aggression bred out of them...

hahaha that's not my dog. but it looks like him. thanks! :D

What is this $#%^? Dogs are like dudes, unless your a bitch, then you're a pig, or a sista. When a cat turns it's back, what do you think that bitch wants? When that animal gets more love an affection than the fukcing walker, guess whose getting their ass kicked by the #######2.

ya a human can love an animal. I know an old man who strokes his old lady pussy every night.

I love most animals, although I'm allergic to some types of shellfish.

As pets; I have a dog and a cat, although they're not really 'mine' as I have no specific interest in owning animals, neither do I have an aversion to it.

The cat kind of does its own thing and the dog does what it's told. Before it did what it was told it had regular beatings and limped occasionally. It has a mild fear of me but is doesn't cower from me or anything that extreme.

There are many other animals on the farm but aside from some noise and smell they have no effect on me other than mild interest.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.

I am not a animal lover. I really can't stand them but I am the same with people as well.. I'm not biased between animals and humans, I hate them just as much as the other.
They all want and need way too much for my liking..

Sure they can, what kind of question is this? It's the same as "Can a chinese person like the colour black?" ... Please, there are different types of personalities with their own likes and dislikes, people are more than just a personality disorder. Perhaps if you wanted to ask about psychopaths (which to me is something else than ASPD), your question would make more sense.. Though even psychopaths can love in their own way I believe.

As for myself, I have a strange relationship with animals. I used to rescue mice from my father's traps and saved frogs when they where about to drown in our swimming pool, yet I also regulary gave my pets a rather serious beating. Though I never made a pet limp, bleed or gave any other kind of wounds, I did scream, kick and hit a lot. Nope, I've never killed an animal but yes I did abuse many.
Yet when my most beloved cat dissapeared, I cried for days. Even now I can still cry about it when I look at an old picture of her, unknowing why I cry, since I don't feel the emotion (anymore?).

Nowadays, I don't form attachments to anything or anyone. I do have a dog, which I take care of and I don't abuse it like I used to do to my other pets. Why? I had a very short moment of 'empathy' where I imagined the dog feeling scared of me, it only lasted for a second but it was enough to keep my hands of her. The fact that I'm far less prone to anger now helps too.

The strange thing is that I still have this impulse to help animals in general. A week ago I went on a trip to France and found two sick kittens. I brough them home with me and paid 150 euros in vet bills for them. Now they live under my roof and if I don't find an owner for them, I'll keep them and take care of them. I don't feel anything towards them, yet I do help them... Strange. :?

Now, I'm having trouble differentiating between what I want and what I need to make me happy

So instead of thinking, I just act before I have a chance to contemplate the consequence of action

Maybe this is all a part of my flawed design

I think it's a perfectly reasonable one.

It's the same as "Can a chinese person like the colour black?" ...

No it's not. Animals are not inanimate objects and can behave in ways that elicit a reaction.

For example, it's difficult to be angry with the colour black, however having an animal as a pet requires organisation, affection and patience, something that is not usually associated with people with AsPD.

You could ask the question, "Do Chinese people like cheese?" and this would also be a valid question, as dairy products are not widely used in China. Chinese people that I know often see cheese as disgusting as it's effectively rotting milk.
I'm not arguing; I'm explaining why I'm right.
