Yeah, criminal records are hard to come by, and I get the feeling someone like Jim Morrison had a much larger history of criminal activity, probably before the age of 15, but yeah, maybe he never got caught? His behavior is rather balls in your face defiant though. Maybe a late bloomer?

http://www.jimmorrisononline.com/arrests/

Jim Morrison was arrested on September 28, 1963 in Tallahassee Florida, while attending Florida State University. He was charged with petty larceny for stealing a cop’s helmet and umbrella, disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and public drunkenness.

On January 23, 1966, Jim was arrested for assault and battery charges.

On December 10, 1967, Jim was arrested on stage during a concert at New Haven, CT. While backstage with a girl, a police officer, not realizing it was Jim, told the couple to leave. Jim resisted and was maced by the cop.

Jim Morrison was arrested on January 29, 1968 at the Pussycat a’ Go Go in Las Vegas for public drunkenness, vagrancy, and failure to possess sufficient identification.

On March 1, 1969, The Doors played the Dinner Key Auditorium in Miami Florida. 4 days later, on March 5, the Dade County sheriff’s office issued a warrant for Jim Morrison’s arrest.

Cobain was bipolar.

King is completely normal but went through enough rough spots in his childhood to develop a drinking problem. He was raised by a poor working mother who left him in the care of some nasty babysitters. gk, did you know he taught highschool English classes before he made all that money writing fiction?

Manson was likely a sociopath. Even before the Tate-LaBianca murders he was "doing life on the intallment plan" as they say. However, it appears that there wasn't enough evidence to convict him for that fiasco (Not that it really matters. He likely would have been in& out for theft, etc. anyway.)

Morrison was an interesting case. He had too much money for anybody to make an issue of his behaviour, but it's possible. Substance abuse is often a type of self medication, and masks underlying neurochemical issues.

Axl Rose is also bipolar.

More on Morrison:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jim_Morrison

It's impossible to tell from the outside whether a person born into a military family has a PD or not. I knew a military family that was totally FUBAR and heard stories of many others. Punctual and badge adorned trumps rape, theft and attempted homicide every time.

Not to say that Morrison ever did any of that (to the best of my knowledge.) Just saying that if scandal happens among their own, military people are among the best equipped to cover it up.

Ian Watkins , former vocalist of the Lostprophets Image
warning: can possibly be a trigger for sexual assault victims

I say this guy because his songs and his disposition would lead you to believe he is the common chill and even vulnerable little rocker kid. He was a very reasonably physically attractive that even graduated a university with high honors. He even was involved in certain charities with his band as well

His songs were a far shot from a Brother lynches hip hop songs about cannibalizing babies or Big lurches songs about committing homicide while under PCP(which he eventually was convicted for).

Here is an examples of a very popular lostprophets' songs for those that are unfamiliar with the band.

last train home chorus-

But we sing
If we're going nowhere
Yeah we sing
If it's not enough
And we sing
Sing without a reason
To ever fall in love

Not too alarming really.

But then this

As reported by cnn-

The lead singer of rock group Lostprophets was sentenced Wednesday to 35 years in a British jail for child sex abuse, a court ruled.
The sentence for a string of child sex offenses -- including the attempted rape of a baby -- includes 29 years behind bars for the disgraced rock star, according to Britain's Press Association news agency. Six years are on license, meaning he will remain under police supervision.
Ian Watkins, 36, confessed to 13 offenses at Cardiff Crown Court in Wales last month. On Wednesday, Judge Roger John Royce said the case broke "new ground," according to Press Association.
"I am satisfied that you are a deeply corrupting influence, you are highly manipulative, you are a sexual predator, you are dangerous," Royce said. "The public and, in particular, young females need protection from you."
Watkins must serve at least two-thirds of the sentence before he can be considered for release. Two co-defendants identified only as Mother A and Mother B were sentenced to 14 years and 17 years, respectively.
Police said they were investigating whether Watkins committed similar crimes in Germany and the United States.
"The investigation uncovered the most disturbing child abuse evidence I have seen in my 28 years as a police officer," Detective Chief Inspector Peter Doyle, senior investigating officer for South Wales Police, said in a statement.
"There are also investigations being conducted by other police forces around the world including Germany and the United States."
Lostprophets, a Welsh group which has sold more than 3 million records worldwide, broke up in October.

I underlined the part where the judge is essentially saying Ian has aspd .

I'll even go a little more in depth. And this is where the triggers may be for sexual assault victims . I don't know, just trying to be considerate here.

Ian videotaped himself having sex with a year old baby from my recollection(i read alot into this whole thing, but i could still make some small errors). After he did it, he had an aim conversation with the mother of the child and said "i won't go easy on it next time" . He would also refer to the baby and the mother as his slaves. The mother even referred to the baby as Ians' "###$ toy". This demonstrates Total lack of empathy for the life forms we feel the most obliged to protect.

One woman requested he DJ at her 10 year olds birthday party. To which he said "only if i can ###$ her". There was even a woman that became involved in a relationship with him, she told him that she would expose his pedophile behaviors. To which he just told her that no one would believe her, and no one did. It was years after that when Ian got convicted.

He even convinced one mother to do sexual acts on a baby herself.

Perhaps the biggest abomination was perhaps the story of his rape attempt on a baby. He had been talking to a "superfan"(as he called them) , and he was creating a plan with her to birth a baby and get it addicted to hard drugs and use it as a sex slave for the childs' entire life.

Honestly, i was more surprised then anything. I would have never guessed with him.

^madjoe, yeah, bipolar is not a personality disorder. quick search, and yeah there is a high co-morbidity. seems when combined there is a higher impulsivity, but that's about it.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2911146/

Impulsivity in bipolar and cluster B disorders

The high comorbidity of bipolar disorder and cluster B personality disorders (6, 7) [recently reviewed (2)] may involve impulsivity.

Impulsivity was higher in bipolar disorder with or without ASPD than in ASPD alone, and higher in ASPD than in controls. Adverse effects of bipolar disorder in ASPD, but not of ASPD in bipolar disorder, were accounted for by increased impulsivity.

ian watkins has sexual deviancy inclinations only. he is no ASPD. might be a psychopath, but there is no evidence of conduct disorder, nor is there evidence that he qualifies for 3 criteria in the DSM for ASPD. ian watkins is a phedophile. Probably a NPD as well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Watkins_(Lostprophets)

if you are looking for a freakshow ASPD, this guy is probably it. GG Allen. to be honest though, he graduated with no problems, there is no evidence of conduct disorder.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GG_Allin

Allin was born Jesus Christ Allin at Weeks Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, New Hampshire, the younger of two sons to Merle Colby Allin, Sr. and Arleta Gunther.[3] He was given this name because his father told his wife that Jesus Christ himself had visited him, and told him that his newborn son would be a great man in the vein of the Messiah.[3][6]

Allin was a poor student at school, being placed in special education classes and having to repeat the third grade. According to his older brother, he experienced bullying by fellow students due to not fitting in.[12] In his sophomore year of high school, he began attending school cross-dressed, which he said was inspired by the New York Dolls.[12] When asked about his childhood, Allin said that it was "very chaotic. Full of chances and dangers. We sold drugs, stole, broke into houses, cars. Did whatever we wanted to for the most part – including all the bands we played in. People even hated us back then."[13]

In late 1989, Allin was arrested and charged with "assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder" of a female acquaintance in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

see... no conduct disorder. strictly a petty criminal, with strange fetish and penchant for showmanship. diagnosed NPD, borderline with masochistic features.

In a psychological evaluation made as part of the trial,[18] Allin was judged as having at least average intelligence, and was described as "courteous, cooperative and candid". The unnamed evaluator noted that Allin did not appear psychotic, and seemed comfortable with his unorthodox lifestyle. However, the evaluator asserted Allin was dependent on alcohol and had a mixed personality disorder with narcissistic, borderline and masochistic features.[18]

yeah it is difficult to distinguish if he is ASPD or NPD. personally i think morrison being the fat head he was, that he was probably an NPD. maybe there is evidence of conduct disorder earlier or maybe as you say it was covered up. it's close though, i could be wrong, ASPD looks like it might be a fit.
