Nah, Eric_Lee and Demon didn't hate each other. They just had a special kind of 'love' for each other.
Him making death threats towards her was his way of flirting, and she telling him he'd look better with a knife in him was her way of expressing affection.
I'm sure Eric_Lee would agree...
