that's going too far!

he's a modern ted bundy in the making that would make even the likes of reaper jealous

on a side note, notice how protective eight can be toward someone who's shared a super secret with her?

i'm sure she'll be the first to hear it when courtmister finally gets his story straight

---

no i am seriously kidding. honestly i don't look half as hard as some of you. currently i am giving contrast much more than the benefit of the doubt, and honestly i did not mean to come off as overly suspecting...i was just throwing his own kind of analysis back at him...expecting he'd constructively respond...thought he maybe just overlooked an aspect of his psychology that i'd bring to his attention...wasn't questioning authenticity of anything...was therefore slightly taken aback by eight's response

end of storyy

His generation, saturated with technology and social media from an early age, places an inordinate value on their social media, so much so that it becomes almost as real and in many ways more important than real life.

If hundreds of kids have hung themselves over social media snafus, is it too much of a stretch to postulate that one might commit a violent crime or assault out of a similar reaction or need?

Also, psychforums as your main social-media outlet is probably not a good or healthy idea.

I strongly doubt this is his main outlet.

I seriously had to laugh at this.

Oh wait... you weren't joking...?

The lol factor is there, regardless.

When you put it that way it actually makes a lot more sense. Thanks, I wasn't making that connection. I'm not old by any means, and am probably a part of his generation but I've never been into social media at all so that would explain why it was so odd to me! I kinda shake my head every time I read about a suicide related to social media, how have people not yet realized it's more toxic/damaging than most illegal drugs. People are never more content/happy after using social media, it's always the opposite.. at least in those I interact with day-to-day.

Still, committing a crime and videotaping it just seems so counter intuitive to me. To then go one step further and send it to a self-admitted psych? That confuses me greatly. Maybe Eight's got some serious attractiveness / selfie game going on to motivate a young guy to do something so potentially self-destructive in a bid to impress her.

What is with your preoccupation with Schizoid PD? For the longest time it was autism, and now it seems to be schizoid. :o

The only Schizoids i've ever interacted with were incredibly insightful, almost scary insightful, but never actually shared or tapped into any of that insight, unless probed @ greatly or if they happened to fancy you and built trust over long periods of time. They're incredibly hard people to get close to, let alone benefit from in any way shape or form. I can't see a schizoid having any interest in ASPD, or grand-standing / pea-cocking like SS does. Are you sure he's a schizoid? Is that your professional opinion? :p

Golly gee this post got a lot of unexpected attention lol
Gosh, it disturbs me to see you, Gaston
Looking so down in the dumps
Every guy here'd love to be you, Gaston
Even when taking your lumps
There's no man in town as admired as you
You're everyone's favorite guy
Everyone's awed and inspired by you
And it's not very hard to see why!

It's not the topic, but the discussions that happen within that are of value. Interesting discussions pop up in the most unexpected places here.

Zoids are my favorite diagnosis. They are quite insightful. I think he is one, specifically this right side of this list. Dazz is the left size, and he's my other favorite schizoid. They're MirrorZoids

I'd be disappointed if I found out my schizoids are actually ASPD.

The very nature of Schizoid PD goes against the whole posting on a forum etc. I suppose there are outliers in everything though so maybe you're on to something. I've never seen someone romanticize schizoid PD though, you're unique Dulcet. Clearly you have a type.
