Maybe I'm being an aesthetic cinephile nerd, but its a film that really should be watched in HD, maybe other links included on site, but vid I saw on there was crappy 720p, and I'd be unable to watch.

Yea, links to a tool would be removed, so please don't (even if it seemed safe now, offsite tools can be infected later). Others would be wise to be wary.

Links have always been sort of iffy here, in part because not all content on youtube passes the content sniff test (e.g., gore, porn, etc., is still going to be a no), but understood that youtube links and embedding have become ubiquitous on most forums, and so also understood why it is desirable to make them easier to embed. I can bounce it off the other site admins. The site owner is very busy so no promises, but I get the argument for wanting this to be easier to do.

p.s. And really if anyone is thinking this is an opening to start a complaint fest about why not, not fair, etc., that will not help and if anything just leave me/us thinking no, forget it.
