Today my shrink decided to tune up the dosage for risperidone for me, (from 1 mg to 2). Seen there is a long line at the pharmacy so i decided im ok for now with the remainder for 1 mg pills i have.
Up until this moment I didn't even consider two 1 mg pills being different than one 2 mg.
So can I take the remaining 1 mg leftovers two at a time, or should i keep taking one of 1 mg and get my 2 mg pills asap?

Hey Zilberlex,
I know there are some principles in pharmacodynamic where the type and quantity of tablets you take can have an effect on how they're digested which, in turn, has an effect on how the drugs can affect you. However, the effect always diminishes the effectiveness of the medications in these cases. So digesting two different tablets might be a little bit less than taking one large tablet.
Of course, that's just a principle. I don't know if that's how it works for 1 mg tablets of risperidone v. 2mg tablets of risperidone but I think you'll be alright taking two 1 mg tablets instead of the 2 mg tablets.
Take care and best wishes.

Thanks for the informative answer, I understand my hunch was right.
Anyway I just postponed my 2 mg dosage by one day, solving my issue.
