I wish I could publicly attend any event, but I can't because my career would be in trouble... I wish there wasn't such a nasty, career ending, stigma attached to mental disorders.
I'd love to tell my story of how to get off of meds! I bet I'm in better shape than so-called "normal" people now. They can take thier "illness" theories and find more excuses to explain how people like me can beat a disorder.

MindFreedom International's I Got Better campaign aims to challenge the dominant narrative of hopelessness in mental health care by making stories of hope and mental wellness widely available through a variety of media.

I like how when psychs drug you up particularly with neuroleptics, they say you are "better". That is only because these drugs put you in a zone and in the background, fry you. I have no doubt people get better without drugs that makes more sense honestly then drugging people with meds that don't help. Neuroleptics are neurotoxic, but you don't see that in drug pamphlets. Here is an interesting book with information on antipsychotics.

They never took the stuff and are clueless to how they cause a person to feel. Even the word "sedated" is a weak description. When people compare a distressed person to a sedated person from the outside It may look "better" .
Define "better" video on child drugging
