Turning on "loved ones" to antipsychiatry

Postby Copy_Cat » Sun Aug 12, 2012 9:41 pm

I chose that term "loved ones" because thats what NAMI (national alliance on mental illness) calls us "mental patients" as they brainwash familys and push big pharma business and marketting machine. NAMI is a big pharma front group, most of there funding comes from e-lilly , bristol myers squib... astra zenica and friends.

I was just reading the horrible psych hospital thread and was thinking how to improve things. My family has seen all the CCHR videos and gets the mindfreedom newsletter and If for some reason I ever goto the hospital my family would never take the word of any mental health worker over mine. It was withdrawal and side effects from psych drugs that always hospitalized me ! not my "illness".

How many of our familys have read books and webpages written by big pharma and psychs ghostwriters and marketing machines and belive all that bull 100%.

Its time for our "loved ones" to know the sad truth about psychiatry, let the e-mailing begin.

How about getting him to watch The Marketing of Madness: Are We All Insane ?

The Marketing of Madness is the definitive documentary on the psychiatric drugging industry. The real story of the high income partnership between psychiatry and drug companies that has created an $80,000,000,000 psychotropic drug profit centre ! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zhwu4pSLBRk

Or ask him to get a chemical imbalance TEST , just to be sure you have one ?

But ya, I understand. The general public, families, many nurses and the hospital workers don't have a clue. There was an experiment to see If "normal people" could goto a hospital and fake symptoms , get diagnosed ect. They fooled the Doctors and nurses no problem but the patients knew right away. When I got strarted taking all the pills I belived all that seratonin crap and thought taking the pills was like adding water to the radiator of a car that was overheating to correct a "cooling imbalance".

I don't know, people have been watching T.V commercials showing that fake brain cell cartoon with seratonin going back and forth and reading stuff written by big pharmas and psychs ghost writers for years, to be suddenly told its 99% bullcrap must be hard to belive.

I can think of some family also, no way would they give it a chance. Like never.

That was the link I was looking for, thanks. It would be cool to do this experiment with modern audio video spy equipment and put the results on youtube ! If I had a video of my mistreatment that lead me to start writing here, I would own that hospital after a jury saw it.

Someone would have to sneak in something like this in for me : Keychain Video Camera & Recorder http://www.sharperimage.com/si/view/pro ... der/101089 on a visit after admission.
