you should check it out. DSM 5:

"night eating syndrome"

Hey its not realy off topic, "night eating sydrome" was invented to sell drugs, just like child bipolar.

"Treatment: Night eating disorder tends to lead to weight gain; as many as 28% of those seeking gastric bypass surgery were found to suffer from NES in one study. The disorder is accompanied by what sufferers describe as an uncontrollable desire to eat, akin to addiction, and is often treated chemically.

The selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, Sertraline (or Zoloft) has shown some ability to help NES sufferers."
Read: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_eating_syndrome They blame it on seratonin...

NES "sufferers" give me a break.
Label and drug, thats the name of the game. These people will stop at nothing to peddle there poison.

It will be more like some lame zombie apocalypse with everyone brain dead from psych drugs in front of there T.Vs getting fat and saying the worlds stupidest phrase " IT IS WHAT IT IS " as a responce to anything and everything .

More on child bipolar: This child died at four years old thanks to psychiatric drugs and bogus labels.

Rebecca Riley (April 11, 2002 – December 13, 2006), the daughter of Michael and Carolyn Riley and resident of Hull, Massachusetts, was found dead in her home after prolonged exposure to various medications, her lungs filled with fluid. The medical examiner's office determined the girl died from "intoxication due to the combined effects" of the drugs Clonidine, valproic acid (Depakote), Dextromethorphan, and Chlorpheniramine (chlorphenamine has been shown to work as a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor or SNRI) and that her heart and lungs were damaged due to prolonged abuse of these prescription drugs. Police reports state she was taking 750 milligrams a day of Depakote, 200 milligrams a day of Seroquel, and .35 milligrams a day of Clonidine. Rebecca had been taking the drugs since the age of two for bipolar disorder and ADHD, diagnosed by psychiatrist Kayoko Kifuji of the Tufts-New England Medical Center.

This is kind of out of the blue but somthing I noticed about that picture of the little girl is she seems to have a puffy area around her neck. If she displayed disturbing behaviour she may have had a thyroid issue.
Hashimoto's autoimmune disease often mimics the symptoms described for bi-polar such as:

sleep distubances
episodes of hyperactivity alternating with depression
severe fatigue
poor stress tolerance and a tendancy towards attacks of panic and anxiety
"brain fog" innatention and cognitive issues, especially with short term memory
sudden aggression or sudden crying
shakes, sweating and/or panting
fluttering heartbeat
In very severe cases psychosis and mania have been reported

There was a woman, i cant remember where this was, but she was diagnosed as bi-polar.. anyway she went into a manic state, showing confusion, hallucinations, terror, aggresson and spastic movements. Her family took her to the psychiatric hospital where she was admitted and dosages of medication elevated. she did not do well and continued showing severe behavioral distubances until she passed out. At this point she was transferred to the ER whereupon she was diagnosed with severe hyothyroidism. she was treated with hormone replacement and dietary changes and is now "mostly" normal.

Endocrene and immune disorders can cause massive behaviour changes, anything, any disease that affects the thyroid, adrenal glands, lymph system and gonads. There are more than 20 recognised thyroid disorders alone, most of which do not have tests or are not tested for in standard lab panels. Its so easy just to slap a "crazy" sticker on somthing wierd than to look deeper into the functioning of the organism.
