First anti-psychotic patch in development

Two US companies have teamed up to develop a prototype patch to deliver an existing nueroleptic anti-psychotic drug through the skin. Will they market this patch for "difficult children" ?

Under the terms of the deal, drug delivery company Dermatrends will be providing the drug delivery technology for transdermal delivery of an anti-psychotic drug selected by Teikoku Pharma USA.In terms of clinical compliance, it is better than the oral version, Lee Schafer, a Dermatrends spokersperson, told In-Pharmatechnologist.com

"You can put the patch on the back of a patient for example where it is difficult to reach and it is easier to monitor that the patient is actually taking the medication."

I spotted this when using google to find the anti-psych forum, I typed in anti psych form by accident and this link came up !

These people are discusting, put the "nueroleptic brain toxin skin patch" where the patient can't reach it.

Why dont they write "where the victim cant reach it", a little truth for once.

Big Pharma—Define 'Better'
Featuring Chill EB - Psycho/pharma spends billions of dollars a year marketing mental 'disorders' & drugs for kids -- yet these drugs are documented by international drug regulatory agencies to cause mania, psychosis, hallucinations, suicide, violence, homicidal ideation, heart attack, stroke and death. What's more, they are being prescribed for psychiatric disorders that are simply a checklist of behaviors

They will market this for children, history often repeats.
I survived psychiatry.
