Soo I had serious issues but got help. During the process I was forced to take Trileptal for about 6 months. During this I worked out but if you notice some of the side effect two are severe weakness and easy bruising/bleeding, the ladder I'm not worried about. But the weakness I am. As I said I worked out during the process but I think it's kinda funny that I haven't worked out for over 7 months since I last took the medication and still am getting stronger. Also I lost about a realistic 8 or 9 inches off my vertical jump due to ligament damage, as well as a loss in power punching(I box as a hobby). I just gotta know if it's possible that the medication permanently damaged my muscles and ligaments?

Also. I'm not that messed up. Don't lie to make me feel good.. if it's possible just tell me. Also I had chest pains and acne side effects. So I was considered allergic but decided to keep taking because I needed help but now that I've recovered. I don't feel as strong as I did pre-medication so I just gotta know!

Hey Just Gotta Know,
Trileptal's method of action involves inhibiting sodium channels that are responsible for allowing the passage of ions into the neurons of your nervous system. This inhibits their rate of firing which can have therapeutic effects for certain disorders. The drug-itself wouldn't damage your muscle fibres or ligaments but the sedation might make you a little less athletic. However, if you've been off the drug then your sodium channels should be fine.
Keep at it. I'm sure your athleticism will come back. Everyone experiences dips in their numbers.
Take care.
BTW - you don't need to post this in the anti-psychiatry forum.

I notice that word "forced" they tryed to force that crap on me and tryed is anouther word for failed.
I am wondering, what method was used to force you ?
The method of coercion in my case was a threat of "injectable form" neuroleptics, I called the bluff and after pointing out that I will be on the other side of that locked door in the future on even ground and you dont want to needle rape my body and psych (soul). They asked "is that a threat" ? I said take me to court about it I will say I was insane at the time, I was in a psychiatric hospital !
My body came back after swallowing psych poison for years and getting sicker and sicker then taking more pills to get better making me realy sick I figured out psychiartys scam.
I weightlift daily now and am very strong but my body is damaged from it , eating takes effort now.
I survived psychiatry.

I agree with everything you said copy cat and my body does feel damaged. However, if we have an actual professional, rather it be a pharmacist, psychologist, physicist or doctor to answer this would be wonderful. And I was threatened to be forcefully injected also and they even threatened to send me to the state facility for no reason.

Thats standard protocol it seems. Or "prefered method of coercion". I heard the same
injection-state-hospital line when I refused trileptal and other stuff after the abusive visit that lead me to this forum.
My weight lifting is going great and I took alot of "meds" in the past, Enjoy your return to health !!!
I survived psychiatry.
