Considering the facts that
1. no one gets better in the current treatment schemes
2. People get worse, they get on disability, their life crumbles and they
3. Lose all credibility because once labeled with the stigmatizing labels you lose your life as you knew it.
4. Sick family members use diagnoses against you to discredit you until the day you die no matter what you do to prove the label didn't fit.
I've had two close family members that were directors of mental health centers, both were frightenly maladjusted,one was physically abusive of his wife, the other one infamous for stalking men that didn't want to be with her. Both consider themselves "mr or Ms mental health.... Ironically the stalker one was a marriage family expert...
