Psychiatry Promotes the Masculine Alpha Male Extrovert

To a certain degree... I think too much of the alpha male type of behaviour would get someone labelled as AsPD or some other PD. Extroverts are much easier seen as mentally healthy than introverts, imo.

I am not so into being an introvert. However, these extroverts with their facade of confident nice-guy are clearly people who don't value the mystery in life and want everything debased to their basic extroverted level. Strangely for all their seeming openness, they also lie quite readily and make terrible politicians.

This complain I am making could have been avoided, but multiple women including therapist have told me I should be more confident, and I have come to resent the word.

If it's true, that means that psychiatry is ignoring some very important information to consider when giving patients drugs that alter neurochemistry.
