Seriously? Did you just download it as a PDF from some website?; or did you get access through a university subscription? I'm surprised because it retails for such a large price. Then again, I have the entire Harry Potter series on PDF, and the Lord of the Rings (I hate both...).

Although it would be easier with torrents.
Anyway, there are copies out there.
You don't like Lord of the Rings???
That is almost like impossible.

I like The Hobbit, but that was never made into a film (or was it?). I dislike Lord of the Rings because I do'nt believe that it is actually a good film series. The acting is poor and the plot worse.

I don't think the Hobbit was made into a movie.
I read the books a few times and really enjoyed the movies.
If you did not like the plot, then yes, you should avoid reading the books.
