I have often wondered if some people with mental illness are not sort of hypochondriacs, just asking?

Its not terribly difficult when they tell you you have a "chemical imbalance" in the brain making it seem like medical fact. hypocondria runs rampant as on more symptom of the "disease of chemical imbalance"!

Ask them for a "chemical imbalance test" an watch the reaction !

Well what do you mean you have no test for this ?

How do you know what kind of imbalance of the brain it is ?

You have a "disease" ? A "chemical imbalance disease" ? I NEED A TEST FOR THIS !!

A "brain chemical test" yes, test my brain chemicals with a chemical test of some sort ! Then it will not be hypocondria it will be medical fact of unbalanced chemicals in brains !

Um...hypochondria is a mental illness, isn't it? So isn't your question effectively asking if some people with mental illness have a particular mental illness? I would think the answer is obviously 'Yes'!
