check these test's out

depersonalization test:
http://www.strangerinthemirror.com/questionnaire.html
In this test if you answer just two questions and the answer is not "never"
you will see in the results that you have a mild depersonalization(which you do not).
everyone in this world who will do this test has depersonalization.

Schizophrenia Screening Quiz:
http://counsellingresource.com/lib/quiz ... enia-test/
about this test..I played with it a bit and when I answered NO to questions:14,15,16,17
it appeared I said yes in the results and also it takes for only one question to be answerd as "Yes, definitely" to get bad results.

these test's want you to fail.
but why?

I would expect an extremely large majority of people to experience some mild level of dissociation (in the form of depersonalization or derealization). Almost everyone has had the experience of day dreaming or zoning out while driving the car and missing their turn off. Those are such common experiences that I can't recall ever hearing a person say they couldn't relate to those things. Yes, it wouldn't be enough to be given a diagnosis of depersonalization/derealization but people should be aware that they do experience symptoms that fall in the dissociative spectrum and that those experiences are classified as depersonalization/derealization. The test is only meant as a guide to help make you aware if you are experiencing dissociative symptoms so that if it is interfering with your life, you will be more able to seek treatment for it. I don't see anything wrong with that personally. Anything that increases a persons self awareness that also encourages them to seek a better life for themselves is a positive thing in my opinion.
In a way, I am not defined by my dissociation. In a way, I am.

Hypochondriasis or hypochondria (sometimes referred to as health phobia or health anxiety) refers to excessive preoccupation or worry about having a serious illness. An individual suffering from hypochondriasis is known as a hypochondriac. Hypochondriacs become unduly alarmed about any physical symptoms they detect, no matter how minor the symptom may be.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hypochondriasis , should be updated to include mental symptoms.

Thats what came to mind for me after reading this.

I think people who are taking these tests have probably already noticed symptoms and are more looking at ways of helping themselves to clearly express their experiences to there mental health professional. I think in these cases it is probably the symptoms themselves that are bothering the person and interfering with their life as opposed to them preoccupied with worrying that they might have a serious mental illness.
