I should do one of these, if I was ever to be confronted by psychiatry again it would only be for only one reason, drinking alcohol.
Give me a Ativan all day then some Seroquel 25Mg to get hungry eat and go to sleep. No damn add on labels "dual diagnosis" for insurance fraud, I will have none of that BS.
Unlikely I would ever need an advanced directive before old age and the possibility of senile dementia or Alzheimers but better safe then sorry.
A bad nervous breakdown plus lots of alcohol has not happened in many many years but anything is possible I guess. I think listing acceptable drugs would make it more likely the directive would be followed and besides doing alcohol withdrawal drug free sucks anyway.

Am also thinking the directive should be put online where I can find it from any internet connection or direct others too, it won't do any good if its home someplace and I am stuck in a psychiatric hellhole and can't get to it.
I survived psychiatry.
