I won't name any names...but I read the criteria for ADD once and some of it was "fidgeting" and "interrupting other's sentences". I'm sorry but that is basically upper class manners in some countries. It's basically medicating lower class kids who are from certain countries who have different manners than the rest. In the middle east for example everyone interrupts people when they speak, even on t.v. talk shows...sorry for the short post, just wanted to point out the upper class manners thing.

yes, bad manners which are never properly addressed according to the individual child. he/she may have a brain which functions in a different way and is therefore unaffected by typical conditioning (many people with "ADD" actually have high intelligence yet fail to grasp simple things understood by the majority of people... there's probably a correlation), so these "bad manners"--the uninhibited instincts of infancy, basically--later become impulsive behavior patterns.
