A good work ethic makes a whole lot of difference - you're right. It's sad to think, therefore, that work ethics go out the window when people get too comfortable (like in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, etc.). I maintain my high work ethic but, by god, so many people here are lazy shits. I actually believe you when you say that Mexico has a better doctor/patient relations than Canada. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this was true. Just look at America: They've one of the most poorly run health-care systems in the world. It's advanced - yes - but if you have no money you're a gonner.
