There was a guy who is as far I know committed for life and he was in my ward and was placed into seclusion for wanting to see his doctor. It's a real shame they have such crude uses of practice. For the most part I thought Mexico was a much better hospital than in Canada. Really shows that advances in technology don't account for everything.
FYI the hospitals in Mexico were overflowing with patients and even with there huge numbers (maybe 200-300) they still had great patient-doctor relations (as in I was able to see a doctor almost anytime during the day I wanted) and in a country where English is not the official language. A good work ethic can really make a big difference.
