I think I have been snarky a few times on this forum, and I apologize.
My patience gets thin at times.
Anyway. For those interested, if you believe you have the good and right cause, don't twist it by being like everyone else. The "this is what I think and I don't care what you think" attitude is largely what enables people to feel they can do whatever they want. It's what enables drug pushers and bullies and all sorts of things.
So if you are against those, then don't be like them. Creating enemies out of people does not help your cause. Be a friend instead. See the other side, and use reason, you don't have to agree with it but at least seeing it and thinking about it and creating a well reasoned belief based on it can bring a lot more change than just being stubborn.

...Maybe a bit of both? I mean, maybe we need a bit of I'm gonna do this whether you like it or not and also a bit of I'm perfectly fine to hear your opinion and take it on board. I certainly practice both, and i believe that's best. For those who are too arrogant, they need to spend more time listening to others. However, for those who are depressed and feeling scared of the world, they certainly need more time spent being authoritative.
I hadn't noticed you being 'snarky' at all though. Maybe we don't hang out in the same forums here though.

Yeah, you are probably right. Both can be good.
