"Statement of the Rights of Involuntary Patients"

The patient is expected to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of the statement, regardless of her/his ability to understand the document or an ability to insist that such rights be honored.

hi moss,

yes, such rights should be there. There should be something as you meant acknowledgment, if they can't understand the thing, then we can do nothing. It depends on patients capability to understand the things what we say or in case or professionals says.
