Why is there an Anti-Psych Forum but no Forum for Politics?

Why is there an Anti-Psych Forum but no forum for politics and social criticism? Psychiatry is just a side effect, let's go back to the roots! We aren't born mentally ###$ up, and the more you take a look around you, the more you'll notice that your problems are related to the problems of everybody. As we suffer in particular, we probably don't have the resources to change the world, but we might have the resources to see what can make a human's life miserable. I wish there was a forum for topics like social confinements and obligations, the struggle for prestige and power, prejudices and labels, sexism, isolation, disorientation, fanatism, resignation, poverty, and so on. How does it affect a human's life? Could there be a better system than capitalism?

The forums are listed according to the DSM (Dagnostic & Statistics Manual). The only non-DSM forums are the Anti-Psych, Poetry, and Just For Fun ones (I think), and there's no intention to create any more. I don't think that a political forum would be suitable here, as it isn't entirely about psycology/psychiatry. You could argue that it is, but not in the way that every other forum here is. You could just raise your issue in the Just For Fun forum, as that is where most of the non-Psych-related stuff ends up.

You need to explain the poll better. As you can see by the first reply there, people won't understand what the poll is about.

Mental disorders are rooted in our genes and your sons are more likely to have it if you have a mental disorder.

You're making a fuss out of nothing. If you want to discuss the society's effects on mental health then do it here. We all know social perception plays a big role, there's nothing new about that. Also, "psychiatry" is a dicipline of medicine, like cardiology, neurology, gynecology, etc. Your poll makes no sense - how can you ask which affects you more, your surroundings or a branch of medicine? You said you're talking about triggers. How exactly does psychiatry trigger a mental illness? That makes as much sense as saying the existence of neurology causes your headaches. I'm not opposing the poll, but you've got to explain what you mean, right now you're the only one who understands what you mean by all of this.

The poll makes as little sense as having an Anti-Psych Forum but none about society.
