I decide I am going to stop taking my anti-psychotic’s I think that I am doing all the work and these pills take all the credit. I remember before I started the pills about 2 years ago I was having 20 to 40 intense fantasies every day. Today I have maybe 2 to 3 and I don’t think it’s all the medication I mean I have put in at least 360 hours of therapy in the past 3 years. I think that all of that has to play a part too. Hey if I’m wrong and I can’t do it without the drugs I can always go back on them. I think I will be fine I even discussed it with my psychiatrist and he agreed to try it out. So I will start reducing my dosage by 40mg a week I am at 320 so in 8 weeks or so I should be off them completely then I can move on to my other pills I take mood stabilizers and SSRI’s. I will try to keep you all updated about how it is going and if I am progressing or regressing as I go.

You can stop taking it likely, but taper off them, never stop them and not take anymore, the withdrawals can be absolutely brutal.
You should likely talk to your doctor about doing it so he can take you off it properly.

I already did talk to him he was the one to suggest that I reduce it by 40 mg every week. I have done the cold turkey approach before and it wasn’t pretty. I mean I didn’t die but I felt like I was going to

HI lostson
Day by day reducing it you can give up it. It is possible. But so far in the above post faerie told that it may brutal to complete give up. Possibility is there.
