Sterilized so they can't reproduce. Would you have children if you knew your mental condition could be passed on to them? I sure as hell wouldn't.

Oh yeh, sorry. I'm a microbiologist and sterilisation for me means something a bit different. I know what you were referring to though and I do agree. However, society would never accept such a thing. Instead, we are slowly dooming ourselves by letting these 'errors' leak through into our genome. We're messing up evolution, in effect.

you could look at it from that angle, I suppose. Always the one to come up with the wise comment, whero. You could argue that it's evolution that has brought us to this point and that we haven't messed anything up at all. This was meant to be, I guess. thanks for putting a spin on it whero.

That's correct except Darwin (the personage) is a non-factor and it is truly Raw Nature that has us in the grip and holding our species accountable. It's not NICE to fool Mother Nature :!: But you can undoubtedly wing it for a millenium or two before it (God's Wrath) catches up with and soundly extinguishes the charade. That is what's to come here shortly, as we all intuitively know (but denial plays us).
In reality there's only one true mental illness, and that's choosing Psych as your major.
