nobody will know

Hi there,

I have a friend that is diagnosed schitzophrenic. He has been having issues for a long while, but recently he is recieving "help".
His family and some friends are really happy, but he is not at all.

The "help" he is getting includes taking antispychotica, and this is what he does not like . He told me he has been trowing away his pills for a while now, and that nobody will find out.
I have no experience at all with these situations. But i figure taking some sort of medicine is good for him. Will his docters find out he isnt taking his medicin?
i hope so, because i dont want to be the one that has to tell his doctors.

does any one have experience with a similar problem, or does anyone know if he will get tested?

Thanks

I thought you were talking about me... just kidding

You should confront him and tell him to take his medicine and then if he doesn't comply go to a doctor. He will be mad if you rat him out but from experience it is probably the best thing for him.

The doctor always knows best, and you need a good contact with the doctor or else it won't work. Take him to the doctor or go there yourself. He could end up in a big psychosis all over again if he doesn't do what is necessary.

doesn't he?

I thought he knew best because he is the doctor.

I guess I should rely on random people for advice. ;)

When it comes to medication and diagnosis, they can get it wrong. That's why some people get second opinions.

Would a second opinion be as good as a first opinion if your comparing them in terms of competition or medal winnings?

My dr once told me that to get access to counselling quicker, rather than wait in a 1 year queue, I should take an overdose and go to a & e

Good job I didn't take his advice

Mental depression

Postby james stephen » Thu Jul 24, 2008 8:10 am

The mental depression causes the human to feel the pain. The depression causes tension and greediness. The mental health patents are like children. They use to do things without their knowledge. The public has to move them in pleasant manner. There are many mental health care centers all over the world.
