same old atrocities going on 50 years later as it was then.

I hate it when ppl (family members especially) say oh the mental health system is so much better than in those days. BS. THey just have different means of inflicting torture, psychiatry has and always will be oppression because 'mental patients' are viewed as scum and therefore ppl feel they can do/experiment on them in what ever way they want, as the 'patients' are so vulnerable they find it hard to speak out agsaint an oppressive system.
