Having an anxiety attack from hell? Here is a "visteril" stupid garbage that might be of some use to the worried well but won't even touch a real anxiety attack.

Long term benzodiazapine use was a nightmare for me, would never repeat it but now it seems these days "we can give you a "vistaril", they downright refuse to treat you even short term and of course if you complain and want a real medicine like an atavan your obviously just a "drug seeker" and the shame is all yours.

When was vistaril invented?

It is a first-generation antihistamine in the piperazine family of chemicals. It was first made by Union Chimique Belge in 1956 and was approved for sale by Pfizer in the United States later that year.

Sh^t was invented 66 years ago,

antihistamine for anxiety , did not work then and doesn't work now.

That sounds more like sedation than anything else. Although I have to say, if I'm going to be facing a medical procedure that involves cutting on me, slap me with some and anything else you can think of. Unless you're going to hit me with a large cartoon wooden mallet because otherwise I'm probably going to kick when you come at me with pointy objects...

I was I've given vistaril along with hydrocodone for pain management and I have to say that was a pretty relaxing combination. Can't remember what was ailing me maybe a broken bone but I didn't care much about anything with those two meds together.

But not what I'd think appropriate for anxiety management.
