Here you have the reason why people want to get rid of involuntary commitment. Why today in many states anyone can refuse psychiatric treatment. Why mentally ill inviduals have "delusions" of corruption and government control. And what might be behind some mass shootings.


These institutions operate with the sole purpose of making money and WILL put patients through any condition including physical and sexual assault to save a buck while lying in every manner to justify billing.

I'd rather live in a world without any psychiatric institutions then ones which are legally allowed to strip you of constitutional rights or psychologically damage individuals beyond repair with complete immunity.
