Snowflakes on "MadinAmerica" have meltdown over story

My comment in reply:

You can’t judge the results by the over reaction of half a dozen snowflakes. 1800 views divided by 9 peoples negative reactions. Big deal. That’s 1 in 200.

Think about a bunch of guys watching football. It looks like everyone is loving it cause guys are expected to like football but alot of us can’t stand it cause most of it is commercials and people standing around the field, its all waiting but those that don’t like football usually pretend to be enjoying the game to fit in because the illusion is everyone else is wile contributing to the illusion that all dudes like football.

Its the same thing happening here. The negative reaction is creating the illusion that “everyone” feels a certain way and people that agree are afraid to speak up.

My comment comparing the reaction to football got report button "waiting for moderation" meaning no one can see it.

That's a link to the story. Other comments I made are gone too, they play this game of hitting the report button to delete stuff they don't like.

Awful that they would delete anything, especially from you. I've noticed that as of late, every group is deleting comments not 100% aligned with their views creating mass echo chambers. Are they leaving your comments up now?

"Maybe I shouldn’t be typing this but I had a plan that if they assaulted me with the needle I was going to get a metal pipe and run up on the person that did it wile they were walking to there car when it was over after I left the hospital and swing it as hard as I possibly could and shatter their knee cap then run away. I made a few comments suggesting people take action outside the law . I don't see anything wrong with direct confrontation with staff if they are abusing a member of your family. People should tell them if they are abusing a family member in these 'hospitals' the abusers might get hurt and abused themselves.

Assault battery needles and injection all the horrors behind locked doors, if the law won't help families do need to step up.

That kind of stuff is OK as long as you don't hurt anyone's feelings based on race, sexual identity or psychiatric label.

They even got upset when I said that people living in New Orleans were stupid for rebuilding in a flood zone instead of up on a hill. The story was about the mental health of Katrina survivors. I almost got banned over that.

There was a member here that brought up suing and going pro-say. Also under cover filming provided its done lawfully.


I agree there are many mental health workers who deserve Justice belonging in prison for the safety of the most vulnerable; however getting physical will only make them look like the victims. Physical altercations can lead to arrests which will go worse if you already have a MH history. In addition the FBI will have an excuse to label the mentally ill as violent which will give politicians an excuse to strengthen involuntary commitment laws while granting law enforcement sweeping powers in "handling" the mentally making things much worse since law enforcement is often not a compassionate approach.

Remember, the media is peddling the argument mass shooters are mentally ill- as such that is what half the public now believes. Becoming violent will only provide validation to those beliefs. People scream fake news/conspiracy, but come reality even those who quip fake still base their views on 5 minutes of journalism which takes poorly cited facts out of context. Case in point- Aspergers individuals are not known to be violent, but if you look at comments on the internet there is a growing number who thinks Asperger's is serial killer disorder despite next to no correlation. Make the argument its not, you are met with "well my brother has Asperger, when he was a child he would have tantrums when he didn't get his way. Even hit a few teachers in schools. These mass shootings are just the adult version of lashing out" Maybe the poster really believes that, maybe they are just a troll- but the plethora of likes following it confirms the general public takes it to heart.



You have to keep in mind the public is like an uneducated none expert jury. You have to draw out who the victim is and who the aggressor is.
