here's my take on whether psych meds or whatever should be used in treating mental illness:

If I have a headache, give me an aspirin. If I cut my finger, give me a band-aid.

Then if I have a mindache I should take a mindmed. If I damage my life I should bandage it (or go to a life hospital if it's really bad).

But actually, while (*IF*) I can pull it together myself (my mind or my life), I'll decline to use meds or hospitals.

So, by the grace of God, I try to do.

(But then, that's just me. :puzzled:)
