Would you break up with someone over meds?

I personally would because it's not fair to me nor to the significant other trying to force meds on me...I love the dialogue in these videos. It's so raw and emotional...

Meds and therapy are, for the most part usually suggested or done voluntarily. If it has to be forced by court order, etc. then the patient has bigger problems beyond their own and your control.
Being institutionalized is extreme and disturbing, but hopefully done in time for the patient's and society's safety. It is supposed to be merciful and humane.
Too many times, society loses and the subject suicides before intervention can take place. First responders deal with this daily. Because of privacy laws, much of it is kept under the radar.

I don't think I could have an intimate relationship with someone who has the kind of PD that I have. I have come to terms that I am the crazy one in my relationships lol and I couldn't handle another crazy person on top of all my crazy. I would support a friend whether they took meds or not, but another crazy ass person with a personality disorder, that level of crazy would be too much on a daily bases.

Interesting. I would date someone with schizophrenia or bipolar, because I feel they would "get" me better than a normie. And if they voluntarily chose to take meds themselves, I would be okay with that. I am only against forced meds, and significant others trying to coerce me into taking meds. But yeah, I can see your point. It would be very dramatic at times.

My current boyfriend has been diagnosed with major depression, and I feel he gets me and I get him. I think the way he "found" me was because I was acting a little strange and he noticed me and then wanted to get to know me better. I walk to and from work, and I get the urge to sort of dance on the sidewalk on the way home from work, and he noticed that and he noticed me. Kind of like the guy in this video...
