Questions, Since I have never had mental illness, I am always learning from human beings like -YOU-... Upon reading this forum and first hand experience observing human beings with mental illness in the past etc. etc. etc... PLEASE answer my questions, so that I can continue to look for answers that might be able to help -YOU- with my research....

Question 1, In numerous post -YOU- have said that mental health professionals make -MONEY- on your mental illness... Besides salary, how else do they make extra money on your pain and suffering....???

Question 2, I have always said, that for every violent -SUICIDE- there are ten passive -SUICIDES- that are not reported... Is there any way we can find out how many human beings with mental illness that are under a mental health professionals care.... How many have died for any reason while under a mental health professionals care...???

I can give you the clue. When I was living near a coastline I was terribly shocked knowing the number of drowned people through local newspapers. One of them informed that in Tel-Aviv area alone 150 persons drowned in one summer month! It also added that some of them were drunk.
We can speculate how many of them were under a mental health professional care, but I think, although i cannot prove it, that there were some, and there were some who had some kinds of breakdowns and depression.
The latter is a solid argument because Israel is an immigrant country and many immigrant suffer so called immigration shock which can be as strong as a prison psychosis, the shrink term describing severe disorders of prisoners, chiefly in-jailed for the first time or for sexual abuse crimes.
I must also add that according to my personal perceptions the idea of suicide was metaphorically speaking floating in the Israeli air of that time.
So if you want to know exactly how many people under mental health pros care commit suicide you have to check every death case of patients where voluntary death can be suspected. This is a great job and I'm afraid even government and police have no this statistics because they don't care to learn the motifs of deaths of non-influential individuals drowned drunk in the sea etc.

1. Prescribing pills on top of pills which rakes in money for pharmaceutical companies. Pills that do not treat the underlying cause and have horrible side effects. Side effects which are managed by yet another prescription.

2. Filling hospitals and programs with insured and paying patients at all cost- regardless of whether or not its legit- or that the program actually helps.

question 1 --- BESIDE SALARY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there is the main problem - because they went to school for over 16 years they DESERVE to sit in an office and continue playing school / taking notes / pushing papers ?????????????

a lot of people have to go to a job and do real work for 15 dollars an hour .

copay for 1 hour to sit with a therapist is over 15 dollars ,
plus the time and money to get there and back .

how much do they actually get from insurance companies ????
im guessing close to 200 ?

can I afford to throw away MY insurance money to sit and talk with a smartass bigot who does not give a damn about me ???

no I can not . I really need value for MY insurance money .

I am guessing if congress passed a law where people could have a therapist come to someone's
home and help with cleaning the house , paying bills , ------------
for 50 dollars an hour .
that a lot of people who need help would be much better off with that
option

there is this attitude and reality in this country where professionals
can make demands and people have to kiss their blanks .
mainly because lawyers do not take them to court and sue for financial abuse .

I am sure someone can answer the kick back aspect better then I can, however any prior investments have already payed off when a doctor diagnosis and prescribes psychotropics. I have no doubt drug companies generously invest in and profoundly influence the education psychiatrists receive and what the public believes about mental illness. Education that is nothing but opinion/theory sold as truth brainwashing doctors to over diagnose and misdiagnose, to interpret practically anything as mental illness, with just about the only solution being medication. Big pharma entirely exists on those concepts. As such they must convince every psychiatrist to find a reason to use their products and everyone else to go along with it.

Are they really torturing us for the measly profit they get from the medications? D:

I thought it was more about maintaining societal control, with the profits as a bonus prize.

Question No. 4.... Since I am not getting the response I was hoping for with Questions No. 1 and 2 and 3, lets give -YOU- a very serious question but it can be (Whimsical) in nature.... Question No.4 is, If you could come up with an answer that would HELP ETC... AND OR CURE ETC... YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS ETC. ETC. ETC... would you even try to come up with the answer.... Would you even try too see if your answer and or somebodies else had a answer that might work....???

If I could find something that would alleviate the suffering I feel in a way which also would put me on a better path then of course that would be something good, and I look for that.

However, I do not view "psychosis" as a problem, but rather depression and anxiety to be the problem. Depression and anxiety are related to sadness and fear, and it would be better to be free from fear and to feel sad when it is appropriate, rather than constantly.

However, regarding psychosis, I guess I would want help with handling the situations better, because it can be quite a sudden shift of consciousness where I depart from ordinary life (but I still live ordinary life, it is just my interpretations are different). As you probably know, schizophrenia is often compared to the shamanic experience, and when someone in a shamanic society starts to have these experiences they are sent to the shaman who has already been through that who will then guide them through it and they come out with many spiritual powers. However, we do not have that in today's society, and must instead handle it alone.

So, asking if we would want an answer that helps, the answer to that would of course be yes, who would not want help? But to want to "cure" it... well, we need to make clear what exactly we are saying that we want to "cure". Schizophrenia is not, in my view, something to be cured, but something to learn to handle better. Depression and anxiety are cured by viewing life in the proper way, and being able to properly express oneself. The sadness and fear will generally make sense to the person experiencing them, because life is felt to not be how it should be, so then the answer is about how to make life into what it should be.
