Since I am not getting the response I was hoping for with Questions No. 1 and 2 and 3, lets give -YOU- a very serious question but it can be (Whimsical) in nature.... Question No.4 is, If you could come up with an answer that would HELP ETC... AND OR CURE ETC... YOUR MENTAL ILLNESS ETC. ETC. ETC... would you even try to come up with the answer.... Would you even try too see if your answer and or somebodies else had a answer that might work....???
If I could find something that would alleviate the suffering I feel in a way which also would put me on a better path then of course that would be something good, and I look for that.
However, I do not view "psychosis" as a problem, but rather depression and anxiety to be the problem. Depression and anxiety are related to sadness and fear, and it would be better to be free from fear and to feel sad when it is appropriate, rather than constantly.
However, regarding psychosis, I guess I would want help with handling the situations better, because it can be quite a sudden shift of consciousness where I depart from ordinary life (but I still live ordinary life, it is just my interpretations are different). As you probably know, schizophrenia is often compared to the shamanic experience, and when someone in a shamanic society starts to have these experiences they are sent to the shaman who has already been through that who will then guide them through it and they come out with many spiritual powers. However, we do not have that in today's society, and must instead handle it alone.
So, asking if we would want an answer that helps, the answer to that would of course be yes, who would not want help? But to want to "cure" it... well, we need to make clear what exactly we are saying that we want to "cure". Schizophrenia is not, in my view, something to be cured, but something to learn to handle better. Depression and anxiety are cured by viewing life in the proper way, and being able to properly express oneself. The sadness and fear will generally make sense to the person experiencing them, because life is felt to not be how it should be, so then the answer is about how to make life into what it should be.
