***mod edit*** When I started at this facility just about everybody was running wild and out of control.... Within two years we had almost everybody under control and helping each other stay under control....

This was a miracle because we saw other mental health facilities in the 20 mile wide area of our place that were out of control.... We saw almost everyone in our facility getting better even if they had different disorders.... Now I and other non professionals understood what miracles were happening and the mental health supposed professionals could care less and were happy with less problems....

After I left this facility and spent years of trying and thousands of dollars of my own money to show -EVERYBODY- that it is possible to -HELP- almost everybody.... I am just a voice in the wilderness who wants to help -YOU-, read my personal blog and then ask questions, it will cost -YOU- nothing.... ***mod edit***

I just want to add that one of the purposes of psych forums is peer support. Members are welcome to share their personal experiences and feelings on this subject. Being heard and being able to vent is immensely beneficial while getting the word out on what people really go through.

Second, I think people on here care, but its far from what we have control over. The people who really need to read your blog and consider an empathy based approach is the mental health care system. We are just the victims begging for help, understanding, and human rights- fighting a system which does not give that.
