The Light's Gone Out

Do meds make you crazy
Or better, I can't tell.
My meds make me feel
like I've fallen down a well.

Clamoring in the darkness
For what, I don't know.
I try to climb out
But the meds say no.

Used to have a working brain.
My best friend it was!
Occupied my time, t'would entertain,
Now it never does.

I sit here like a bump on a log,
All placid and serene.
Wandering around in a fog
I've killed my IQ gene.

This is the dumbest poem
I have written yet.
Resorted to using a rhyming app;
Oh look! Here's a word: diskette.

I remember those from the good old days,
Before my spark was gone.
Before my eyes had this glaze,
When the light in my brain was still on.

This is one of the better posts I have seen on this -Forum-.... YOU explain in clear words why the mental health industry is pure -Evil-.... What I have seen over many years of observing this forum is the almost total lack of anybody really fighting back.... SAD, VERY SAD....
