The Past = The Future

Shrinks and their adorers love to toss about the phrase "history of mental illness" without thinking. Were they to think a bit harder then they would realize that they actually mean, by that, "future of mental illness".

It all begins and ends with human VANITY. Psych began - and will end - exposed as merely the pontifications of the wealthy landed gentry, claiming to be in a position to sit in judgment of the ETERNAL SOULS of "lesser" men ...and how DISGUSTING is that??@!@

Back to square one -- vacate all existing records. No, that cannot happen!! So: give the wondrous Earth back to its rightful owners(s), the plants, the animals, and The Almighty. Homo Sapien is turned sour, yellowed, sickly, coddling the demented -- IT'S A DISASTER!
In reality there's only one true mental illness, and that's choosing Psych as your major.

How so? It might be radical, but that happens when people get on soapboxes. Hyperbole, rhetoric, and propoganda are not uncommon. Especially as people find this topic a very frustrating one, and may choose to vent rather than have a calm debate. Although I personally have a distaste for it, it's hardly a "red flag".

Have you never gotten angry and said something extreme?
