Hi everyone.
I'd like to have some overview of how people get to be coerced by psychiatry for the first time. I'm specifically looking for experiences over which you still hold a grudge of some kind.
If you people could quickly sum up the circumstances of that first time, it may end up painting some impressionist perspective of what happens then with psychiatry: the causal moment of the "misunderstanding". Ideally, I'd appreciate if we could stick to a "one person / one post" guideline to keep this condensed.

OK. I'll include "hating evil" as a situation I'm also interested in.
(I was merely stating that I wish to have overviews of first coercion moments that people do not judge, in retrospect, to be "justified", whatever that means).

I'm not sure I follow, polly. Are you basically asking for people to describe the first time they've felt manipulated by psychiatrists?

I believe that when you are coerced (physically), you are being manipulated. When you are being manipulated (whether you know it or not) you're not necessarily coerced.
I'd like to know what that first moment of physical coercion is. I'd like to draw up some kind of statistical outlook of what happened at that time and what was the justification of the coercion.

The first coercion moment was when I was inpatient and going through benzo withdrawals, I said I did not want anti psychotics and they made that 'we will have you injected' threat.
Its like wait what, you just threatened to assault me ?
You people better think about how you are treating me cause I may see you outside this place someday.
The needle threat is very common but what they don't say is they need a court order.
I survived psychiatry.
