Am going to run away at the end of this month, immediately make the voluntary switch to orals and begin a rapid taper (hoping to be med free within the next 3 months). One of my doctors said it takes 2 years for memory to return! Everyone else I've spoken to said emotions, spirituality, feeling and energy can return in around 6-8months. I pray this is so, and will be doing everything I can possibly find to recover sooner.

###$ psychiatry they took my life from me and left me with no choice but to run from the police to recover.

Harriet Tubman became famous as a “conductor” on the Underground Railroad during the turbulent 1850s. Born a slave on Maryland’s eastern shore, she endured the harsh existence of a field hand, including brutal beatings. In 1849 she fled slavery, leaving her husband and family behind in order to escape. Despite a bounty on her head, she returned to the South at least 19 times to lead her family and hundreds of other slaves to freedom via the Underground Railroad. Tubman also served as a scout, spy and nurse during the Civil War. More http://www.history.com/topics/black-his ... iet-tubman

Its like we need an Underground Railroad to help people escape psychiatric slavery these days. I am serious.

Are you in the USA ?
I survived psychiatry.

At this point, PF would like to remind users of this forum that if you're under orders to take meds, it's best to comply, and we can't be discussing ways to avoid/break the law, however we might feel about the situation. It seems you're mostly along the path to beginning the taper-off, with permission, so why not stick it out at this point, rather than risk getting this extended?
