Stop taking those meds! Psychiatry is a fraud! If you hear or see things that others can't hear or see, you're not ill; you are blessed with a rare gift. Sometimes it can feel a little queer to have the infant reincarnation of President Taft speaking to you from your car's exhaust pipe, but you know what, how many people can say they've spoken to a president of the United States? You are not psychotic; you are just more sensitive to the mystical and spiritual side of life.

If you suffer intense anxiety, remember the cross Christ bore. Pray for Him to be with you in your time of dearest need, and don't pop a benzo! He will help you through it and bring you to greater understanding. In the mean time, say ten Hail Maries and wash your hands in holy water seven times.

If psychiatry has labeled you with a personality disorder, remember they have the f***in' problem! They're just trying to oppress you. Don't take their crap because they want to impose upon you a watered-down, lifeless, and ultimately harmless version of yourself.

Yea, psychiatry is a vast right-wing conspiracy controlled by norm-imposing social conservatives. You're mentally ill because you're not a balding, middle-aged, Protestant white male who looks down his nose with Christian piety on the less fortunate. Your thoughts and feelings don't fit into the narrow channel of acceptability. But they will force you into their mold with the mallet of psychopharmaceuticals, therapy, and commitment papers. It's for your own good; otherwise your deviant thoughts might spark civil unrest, protest, and glorious change.

You are right !!! but don't blame all of them , there are psy. that can just show people what problems they have and advice them how to solve them...

Although you make some interesting, insightful comments, I can not agree with your conclusions.

Since we live in a complex society, we need to conform to some norms. However, we all can and should express feelings and interests that are unique to us. In other words, we all have good in us, and we all have a purpose.

As a young person, I was diagnosed bipolar and placed on large amounts of medication that caused me to gain over 100 pounds and to be able to do nothing but sit in a chair all day, every day.

Eventually, I used my sensitivity, endless energy, compulsiveness, and far out imagination to reach my wildest dreams. In the process, I've received many awards and honors including Who's Who in two different fields. I've been written up in magazines and newspapers from all over the world.

But, I did have to conform a bit to society. I had to accept certain things. And some people, do need medication, at least for a time, if they can not adjust enough to live in our society.
