This question is under the assumption that the diagnosis was truly a misdiagnosis
I know I've had some bad days, and that is technically depression, but why is depression and mental illness always permanent?
Since I have been diagnosed I have been unable to get a private pilots licence, due to not being able to even get a third class medical, and also now I am looking into obtaining a job as semi-truck driver which could be impossible because of being labeled as bipolar-i've also heard of at least one case were a driver was sent home during company sponsored training because it was against company policy for a bipolar man to work as a driver for their company. I understand the German-wings incident, but I personally have no intention of harming innocent lives-and I WANT TO LIVE too, as well. I have been told you can go to court, and have your psychiatric record expunged, if the court so deems appropriate, is this true?
Also if you Defected to another country would your psychiatric record stay with you then?
say if you were an American who defected to another country and lets say for times sake you were stable without any psychiatric medicine whatsoever....could you start a "new life" etc.
