Is it time to stop using the term "big pharma" ?

I am thinking that using the word "big pharma" maybe it hurts credibility a little bit. Like the writer/speaker is all tin foil hat or its just a cheap article with little substance.

Does this make sense, is saying drug companies or the large pharmaceutical companies better ?
I survived psychiatry.

Hmmm, thats interesting. Personally I think people know what you are referring to either way with little change in credibility. I think people are more likely to have an opinion about you based on your own opinion or content rather then the names you choose. But thats just my 2 cents. FWIW I do think large pharmaceutical companies sounds a bit more professional then big pharma.
