Ya its 'normal' , benzos give you an anxiety problem then you need them.
That's how drug dependence/addiction works.
People don't do crazy addict stuff and even break the law because they love that high, they do it to avoid the withdrawals that include that wicked unbearable anxiety can't sleep I am not right and need my drug fix bug out.
I was addicted to Clonopin, it didn't even get me high but if I did not have it I was an anxiety ridden sick mess. I would drive to the ER after having anxiety attacks it was so bad.
Since the mental health system got you started on these drugs, it also has a responsibility to help you terminate them as safely as possible if that is your choice. If you have insurance or just money you can check into a detox or fancy rehab center and get treatment benzo addiction. Its covered.

I don't know how deep you got with those benzos but its no joke, people who have kicked heroin and benzos have told me benzos are worse.
Quit to fast and you can have seizures.
My prediction is they will try to feed feed you some crap like Zoloft or some other bullsh^t SSRI or even anti psychotics and mood pills to treat the benzo withdrawal anxiety. Then when you try and quit that you get to be sick again.
There is no band-aid, you have to suffer through it and I found taking more pills just adds to the suffer and then your still stuck on those pills and still a psychiatry lab rat. More pills is more tax on the body and slower recovery too.
I think you Googled benzodiazepine withdrawal and know whats up by now.
I survived psychiatry.
