In the US peaceful protesting is one good way to get the truth out imo. People who have been harmed by psychiatry can join together raising public awareness. It can also do good helping take out stigma.

Reminds me of the TV news during Ferguson , NYC and Baltimore:

Public officials: "Please protest our violence peacefully" :? That hypocrisy made me laugh.

Anyway check out the 2015 May 16th ECT Justice protest to ban Electroshock I found in youtube.

Join the Church of Scientology, I hear they're big anti-psych advocates.

I have visited the CCHR museum in Hollywood.

The only problem is people with no counter argument to psychiatric atrocities, crimes and lies are always yelling "Its Scientology" as if it makes what they say not true. You see that in the comments on videos.

Besides I really don't want to join new church.

The film The Marketing of Madness: The Truth About Psychotropic Drugs
I think was their very best. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgCpa1RlSdQ

Have you ever watched it and did you find anything in the film that was not true ?

The only thing I found was in the part about the Rosenhan experiment where none of the pseudopatients were identified as impostors by the hospital staff, they forgot to mention that many of the other psychiatric patients knew they were faking it.

You know, Ive encountered that before. Ive seen patients do a better job of picking out what was wrong (or right) with a person then the so called professionals. That's what would frequently happen with me. "you don't have that" "those meds aren't for you" 9 out of 10 times they were right. Of course those so called professionals weren't to pleased, as with anything that questions their authority.

As always you have the best ideas

That is a perfect way to get a point across. As to what it should says its up to you but I know you could come up with something that will get people to question psychiatry for what it really is.

I don't know how psychiatrists are allowed to give us drugs without understanding how we feel. I was lucky because I stopped the medication after having two pills and I refused to continue, besides the pressure I had from my family. Psychiatrists cause mental disorders, they don't know how to cure anyone.

My idea for spreading anti-psychiatry offline is “word of mouth”. I work in a store and I talk with every customer about many topics. I saw by chance that this is an easy way to influence many people’s opinion.

This method works much better than written words. Everyone is tired of ads, and even a helpful warning can be seen as if it was a kind of ad.

When you talk about your own experiences people pay attention to what you are saying. They don't feel that you are trying to impose anything. So, if you can work for a while in a place where many people go and you have the chance to talk about your life, you can help many people this way. Of course, not too many people, but if you will show the truth in an interesting way, they will talk about this matter with their friends.

An idea that came to me is making a film or documentary. Writing a book is also a good way to get the truth out. When these are backed up by personnel experiences, people often relate better. Words and ideas look less like opinion and are backed up by first hand experience. I think that part is key, especially when others who have seen the system for what it really is can relate.
