In one of my last posts I talked about -SUICIDE- and how caregivers and or family members and or friends etc. etc. etc... can actually -HELP- somebody who is depressed etc... DEPRESSION is a long term killer that slowly robs the person of the spirit that we all must have to live especially if we are trying to deal with mental issues and or disabilities and or disorders and or medical problem and or disease etc. etc. etc...

( One of the many reasons that I am talking about -SUICIDE- is that almost every (Client etc.) thinks about it as an alterative to their suffering... Another important reason is that our MILITARY VETERANS etc. need help with the high rate of SUICIDES in MILITARY VETERANS )

ALL THE TIME, LONG TERM KINDNESS THERAPY, SELF HELP RECOVERY, FREE, FREE, FREE...

YOU can do the above 10% or more of the time and with the HELP of others YOU can do 20% or more of the time day in and day out, and YOU will start to see results as time goes on...
Now what is KINDNESS THERAPY (YOU can look at my BLOG and or various web sites that have ACTS OF KINDNESS etc. etc. etc...)

I will put my ideas of ACTS OF KINDNESS for practical everyday living that YOU and or caregivers and or family members etc. can implement that will help YOU in future posts... Remember these ACTS OF KINDNESS RELEASE -FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS- FROM YOUR BODY AND THEY WILL HELP YOU WITH SELF HELP RECOVERY....

I respect what you are doing, I like your idea of making people feel good. Kind acts go a long way. Empathy heals. Just a little bit of respect makes all the difference in the world for a human being, especially those who are struggling with mental illness.

-YOU- have been screwed for so long by the MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY, they have made YOU into robots etc... I will try and give YOU some ideas that will help YOU and YOU can use my ideas and the best ideas of the Mental Health Industry that have worked for YOU and this way YOU are controlling YOUR body and spirit etc...

One of my problems is that my experiences are in a group settings and these observations and or research have to be modified with YOUR help to help YOU as individuals... So feel free to ask questions etc. and offer advice at any time, YOU will not hurt my feelings if YOU dispute any of my ideas, this is how we all learn and help each other...

-SUICIDE- -SUICIDE- SUICIDE-, Caregivers and or Family Members and or Friends etc. etc. etc. can almost always spot somebody that needs help... If YOU interact with somebody that is and or looks like they are DEPRESSED etc. for more than 3 to 7 days in a row, then they need somebodies HELP...(MY OPINION)
YOU and or a family member and or friend and or caregiver etc. etc. etc. can get involved by giving them KINDNESS THERAPY without them even knowing YOU are helping them...- LEGALIZE - YOU can get help immediately for anybody that YOU think is going to hurt themselves and or others etc. etc. etc...

KINDNESS THERAPY means many things, YOU and or others etc. take a interest in another human being they will almost always respond positively and when YOU and others etc. continually show a KIND INTEREST in that person over time they will show a positive reaction most of the time....

People are afraid to get involved, then I say SHAME ON YOU because all YOU have to do is show an interest in that person and give them ACTS OF KINDNESS and over time YOU will almost always start to see positive results... If YOU or others see danger of any kind then contact the supposed experts and try and get them help... Almost all SUICIDES show signs of danger YOU have to give a dam and show them YOU care about them by giving them ACTS OF KINDNESS etc. over time YOU almost always see positive results, WHAT DO YOU HAVE TOO LOOSE, BY BEING KIND...

I like your post, I think your points are excellent. :D


People who are suicidal or in need of help usually show signs, its important that never be ignored. Getting a person help is essential, there is no excuse. I think its really you mention this as seeing the warning signs beforehand will stop many suicides.


In regards to kindness I love your idea because its so simple and IMO will go really far. Respect, kindness and empathy make all the difference in the world. And yet are perhaps the easiest and safest thing to do. Kindness is contagious to, a person repeatedly subjected to kind acts will pass it on. A person who is in such an environment will feel a sense of belonging, which is a powerful feeling allowing them to open up. This can certainly work wonders for anyone. Sometimes all people need is a person who they can trust, someone who can listen when they aren't feeling so great.


Had I been met with kindness from psychiatrists and the system they work in I probably would not be posting here. But I do post in Anti-psych, and thats because I was subjected to the opposite anything pleasant. When I was at my emotional rock bottom, what I really needed was kind empathy. Someone I could open up to without being judged or thought of as crazy. Unfortunately I did not receive that. The treatment was just as bad as the disease. :cry: :cry: :evil: I not only saw this in myself, but in others as well. Psychiatry is in dire need of reconsider the way it treats people, and yes, kindness goes go a long way in that.

-Riccola- etc... Your response is exactly what I need, reality among the human beings who have dealt with the MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY and somehow survived... Now what we need is more people with their ideas and experience with Mental Health Issues etc. etc. etc...

WHEN YOU MAKE LOVE (SEX) TO YOUR PARTNER AND OR YOURSELF (MASTERBATION) YOUR BODY AND THE OTHER PERSON GENERALLY PRODUCES A HIGH THAT CAN LAST FOR AWHILE... IF ON THE OTHER HAND YOU HOLD A DOOR OPEN FOR AN ELDERLY PERSON YOU GENERALLY GET A QUICK TEMORARY HIGH... IF YOU GREET A PERSON IN THE MORNING AND ASK THEM HOW DID THEY SLEEP LAST NIGHT ETC., THEN YOU AND THE OTHER PERSON GET A TEMPORARY HIGH AND OR FEEL GOOD ETC... THIS PART IS IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND, THE MORE YOU HAVE OF TEMORARY HIGHS DURING THE DAY AND NIGHTS, DAY AFTER DAY, WEEK AFTER WEEK, MONTH AFTER MONTH ETC. ETC. ETC... YOU AND THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU WILL HAVE THESE -FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS- PRODUCED BY YOUR AND THEIR BODY -CONTINUOUSLY- OVER TIME AND THIS WILL CREATE MIRACLES AFTER MIRACLES IN YOUR BODY AND IN THEIR BODIES... THIS MEANS THAT YOU WANT ONLY -POSITIVE- PEOPLE AROUND YOU AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, THIS POSITIVE THINKING WILL ALSO HELP YOU WITH THESE -FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS-.....

I believe this should be taught to all psychiatrists, and I firmly believe such a philosophy should be implemented at all levels in the mental health care industry.


I know that many people experience the opposite, where people are always subjected to feel bad experiences. Feel bad experiences do the exact opposite of what feel good experiences do, making the person become worse. That is never acceptable, no person should ever have to go through that.


Can you give me more examples of acts of kindness that can make people feel good?

Because of the lack of interest, again I am going to explain how simple it is too implement my program of partial and or full recovery etc... If YOU have -FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS- going thru YOUR all the time and or as much as possible -YOU- will see results, again YOU will start to see results if YOU and or YOUR family and or friends and or caregivers etc., give a dam about YOU....

Again I will start to give YOU in future posts ACTS OF KINDNESS that can be used all day long, week after week etc. etc. etc...

YOU readers of this forum are lucky to have a moderator(Riccola) that is interested in your well being and knows how to keep things moving with your best interest in mind...

After about 2 years working at the Mental Health Rehab.Work Facility in New Jersey USA everything started to come together... When I started to work at this facility there were fights and clients acting out almost everyday, and I was a driver in the delivery of clients and or food delivery etc. to other facilities... These facilities also had problems almost everyday with clients acting out etc. and more important was the -SUICIDE- rate that was out of control once YOU count PASSIVE and or active SUICIDES....

I again mention the above because it is so important to explain to YOU that we had results that almost eliminated -SUICIDE- as a problem in our work facility... We got almost a hundred different clients with dozens of disorders to bond with each other and watch out for each other and to care about each other.... We did all of the above and more without the help of the supposed mental health professionals, we did the above and much more by creating an ATMOSPHERE OF KINDNESS with ACTS OF CONTINUOUS KINDNESS everyday day in and day out over a long period of time...

ACTS OF CONTINUOUS KINDNESS, start by going on a computer and GOOGLE, ACTS OF KINDNESS and YOU will come up with dozens of web sites with thousands of ideas.... In the beginning use only a few ideas each day and build up the quantity of ACTS OF KINDNESS each day. Think about what YOU are going to do during the day and what YOU are going to do tomorrow, try to only think about the ACTS OF KINDNESS for yourself and others... When YOU hear voices in your head start to thing what ACTS OF KINDNESS ideas YOU read about on these ACTS OF KINDNESS web sites... These positive thoughts all day long as much as possible will start to show results because those FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS will be giving YOU a natural high all day long....

When YOU start to read about how much fun YOU can have HELPING yourself and or others YOU will start to see that this fun feeds on itself etc... EXAMPLE, if YOU know of some people that are homeless, find one of them and offer them a pack of cigarettes and or a cheap bottle of wine etc... If YOU are near a nursing home for the elderly etc. pick some flowers near by and give them to the elderly and or have a conversation about just about anything they will smile and love YOU.... All day long and night as much as possible think about what ACTS OF KINDNESS you are going to do to other and or yourself all day and night long... START to do this a few times and build up from their and I will give YOU more ideas to keep your -FEEL GOOD CHEMICALS- flowing and over time YOU will see -REAL RECOVERY-...
